The great thing about this post is that it has given me a happy future. I will turn 50 soon and knowing I have at least 25 more years of knowing I will have a young woman in my life is sweeeeeet. If I live that long of course.

Good point - There are the 'Occupational Farang Hunters' who prefer to date Western men over Thai's - In general these women make a career choice before any choice of the heart is given a chance. But also these 'Occupational Farang Hunters' are looking for a 'status choice' not afforded to them by Thai men.

I can understand someone 'employing' someone to take care of them when they're getting old and need help, but to marry them? Knowing that the woman involved will rejoice when they die??
I don't want you to be bewildered. I wasn't going to respond to this thread but when I read your plaintive scream of ignorance I could not help but respond. I wouldn't want you to go to bed without knowing the answer to one of the great questions of the ages.
I had my first child when I was 16 years old about the same time I stopped sleeping by myself. Funny how those things happen.
I have traveled all over the world and lived in many other countries and been married and involved with a variety of women.
I have had women save my life in combat (Vietnamese women), and women try and take my life in marital combat (Canadian women). I have had women try to take my life by screwing me to death (French women) and women try and feed me to death (Italian women). Native American Indian women have cursed me and Canadian Indian women used me for a, well you have to know about Eskimo (Kaska Indian) culture. I have mated with black, brown, white, hairy, smooth, big lipped and small lipped women with a variety of educational backgrounds from none to PhD women.
But I have not done all of this in vain.
I have been to the mountain. I have communed with the spirits and that along with a whole lot of experience has taught me a lesson.

You can bed down with an old lady or a young lady. There will be one constant. They will only be with you for your money. So who would you rather wake up next to? One of my four ex wives or a lively young beauty from Thailand?
I know with almost 100% probability that any woman I end up with , young or old will be with me for my money. That is why it is simply irrelevant whether she is young or old.
Now do you get it?

Unless of course you just take the subway from Shanghai Airport to your hotel in the city centre. Cost 6 Yuan ( 30 Baht ). Used it last week - simple and cheap.
I took the train from Shanghai to Changzhou a couple of weeks ago. Was pure comfort. I think we hit about 333k/hour

I'm inclined to agree. If he were guilty would he really come back knowing he faced a long time in prison. There is more to this than meets the eye. I think someone in authority started to get worried he was going to expose them.
You are thinking on the same lines as myself. Not sure if he is innocent but he's got strong enough connections to make it go away. He's got a lot of buddys in high places.
