I read that after many many years ITV have lost the James Bond franchise to show the films to Sky, not good news me thinks. Still at least BBC have got Match of The Day rights for the next 3 years.

Suggestion: If you haven't opened up a stocks and shares ISA for 2012-2013 say through your bank you should do so for the full amount of 11,200. Buy blue chip good dividend payers such as Vodaphone, BP, Shell. This will lock you into a tax free 5/6% dividend, assuming prices are as is. Put the balance into a one year bond, either bank or building society.

The EU live in a world of their own and dont seem to consider others, my bet is when they get the heads out of the sand they will withdraw this idea to be discussed with other interested parties and thus not loose to much face
.
The have to many people who are politically correct and involved in health and safety. Now, not content with individual contributions from the member countries they want to raise their own Europe wide taxes and that is the problem because when it starts the door will be openeing wider and wider to suck even more out of the people of Europe. Too many on a gravy train I am afraid.

Once you have moved and got used to the way of the World in Thailand its a terrific shock to go home and see what the cost of things are, even makes you think about going back at all!
I am lucky I still have a place in the UK but if I had to look at a Hotel, I would try for a monthly rate and knock them down, there is no free money here, they should be glad of having one room full for a month, how they are surviving I dont know but just remember they have fixed costs whether you stay there or not, so I think you will have the whip hand, it will depend how flexible the local management can be, good luck.
Would I consider moving back permanently? No way, far to expensive, you can do virtually nothing without cost and taxes interferring, better off to stay in Thailand, I know it has some irritating aspects, the rubbish dumping and the driving but somehow I think I will learn to live with those.

Its not a rat snake or the keelbacks we have around Nakhon Sawan. Not see one of those before.
