hi,
i hope someone can give me some clear advice. i have a single entry tourist visa which ends on 28th may. i had hoped to get a 30 day extension but a thai friend has told me that i will only get a 7 day extension. she says if i want 30days, i have to fly out and then fly back into the country. i am sure she's wrong but my thai girlfriend thinks otherwise. can i get another 30 days? and if so, does it matter which immigratiion office do i go to?
hope someone can help.
james

2Nd Non Immigrant Visa; Myanmar Visa Run
2011-01-09 17:18:24
hi
i've been living in thailand for over a year and my non immigrant (o) 1 year visa expired in september 2010. i am 38 and am here for health reasons- the consulate in birmingham issued my original visa after my parents wrote a letter guaranteeing they'd cover all my expenses. is it possible to apply now for a new visa or do i need to wait before re-applying? i am in bangkok now so i assume i'd have to apply for a visa in another country.
also, does anyone know how long it takes the thai consulate in myanmar to process tourist/ non immigrant visas?
thankyou

Uk Tourist Visa Refused- Re-Apply Immediately?
2010-09-11 15:59:08
hi
my girlfriend and i wanted to visit the uk for 2 months in december. she has worked for the same company for 11 yrs and is entitled to 2 months paid leave. she applied for a tourist visa, attaching a letter from her employer and a sponsorship letter from my father saying he would provide accommodation and food during her visit. we visited my father last year for 3 weeks and he had written a similar letter.
because of this, we expected her to be granted a visa but her application was refused because of lack of evidence of accommodation.
should she re-apply immediately? and if so, should she say she wants to visit for a shorter period of time? what info should she provide re accommodation? my father's bank statements perhaps?
hope someone can give some advice.
thanks,
james

hi<div><br></div><div>i am wondering if anyone has knowledge of munich airport. my thai g/f and i are going to the uk via munich airport. we are fly air berlin to munich and then easyjet to uk. we will be in'transit for 5 hours. she has a uk visa but i want to know if she'll need a schengen visa or will she be classed as 'in-transit'?</div><div><br></div><div>both airlines fly to/ from the same terminal and we can check-in online with easyjet so theoretically she won't need to go through immigration and check-in again.</div><div><br></div><div>hope someone has some useful advice.</div><div><br></div><div>thanks</div><div>james</div>
