One Day Overstay

Not a question, but I've seen so many people ask about this on the forum so I thought I'd just tag in with my experience.

Short story is, booked my flight to give me the maximum amount of time in Thailand, then someone asked me out to dinner on the day I was supposed to leave. Completely forgot about the limit so changed the plane to the next day, lol.

At Swampy : Queued as normal, when got to the front, sent to a little desk behind all the immigration booths (just before the hand luggage scanning place) - guy just looked at passport, stamped me out then put in the little overstay stamp too. Took literally 20 seconds. No fine.

In Taipei: Went to the embassy as usual to apply for a 60-day tourist visa (this was 1 week later) - got it back same day no problems.

Clubbing / Drinking Buddies Wanted

Since it's Xmas, all my friends have now returned to their home countries (most not to return) and I'm left with nothing to do and no one to do nothing with... lol.

So basically I'm putting some faith into TV - and asking if anyone is going to be going to a decent clubbing event or something and wouldn't mind a tag along, then let me know

Ideally it would be to some electronic dance music event (the faster the better) - but I realise beggars can't be choosers, I'll just be glad of some company!

Hey guys,

I'm looking for a FT tkd school somewhere in Bangkok. Ideally 3 or 4 days a week (not weekend) for an hour or more a day.

I've looked through the few old threads on here, but most of the schools now seem to be out of business or for kids only.

Anyone have any updated info???

Mcts Courses In Bangkok?

My friend is looking to do the following courses:

SQL Server 2008 Business Intelligence Developer :
MCTS 70-448 then MCITP 70-452

But we're having difficulty finding any schools in Bangkok - I found one Microsoft school, but it only had the 2005 courses....

Anyone know any places which can teach the above (would need to be in English)
