Oa Visa Extension

Went to Korat Immigration yesterday to do my 90 day report. No problems and staff very pleasant and friendly. I will be doing my 12month OA extension in January 2012. Will be using pension/bank balance method. I asked how long the money needed to be in the bank before the date. I was told that the money had to be in the bank three months before my extension. To all who use Korat Immigration pleaes be aware that your need to season your money in your Thai Bank account for three months.

I am coming up for my second extension on my OA retirement visa. I will do it on income from my pensions and money in Thai bank account. Does the money in the bank have to be there for two or three months to season?

Oa Retirement Renewal

I got my OA Retirement Visa in my own country to come to Thailand. I am now living in Thailand. When it comes up for renewal I will do it on the combination of money in the bank plus income. I know I need a letter from my embassy stating what my income is. Could someone please tell me how long I need the money in my Thai bank account before I apply? Is it two months or three months?
