Has anyone experienced a black screen on their LG LCD TV?
I searched on google for this particular problem and the web forum noted that it
was basically a Capacitor problem (bulging capacitor) which feeds the power
source. The basic price for the kit' is around $17usd. in the USA.

I called the LG service center and they refused to sell me the capacitor kit for my
particular 32'' model citing that I have to bring it to a licensed contractor of appointee
to have my tv fixed.  Well I told LG that my TV is out of warranty and it wasn't necessary to do
so as It is my problem thereafter, also I mentioned that I did take the TV to the contractor
and they told me that it will cost 3000 baht to repair along with other unnecessary
repairs as the contractor is the sole or only guy in town? (nonsense!)

Any Information on where to buy aftermarket Capacitors for TV's in Thailand will be very grateful!
