I just discover that I need this before going outside Thailand for a B visa.

Now after having a look in internet and being confronted to so much conflicting information, I really need the help of someone who went
throught this process.

Where to apply ? (immigration, labour...) even for this information I had different answers even if I think that should be Labour

Did the WP3 require the same documentation as the Work permit process ?
What documents I have to request from my company
What documents I have to provide
What the cost

If I undertand well, when I have this WP3 then I can go outside thailand to apply for a B visa (3 month).

When I have this WP3 and this B visa will they give me a Work permit or do I have to go throught another process and
show more documents ?

When I have the Work Permit, I will have to go to immigration office with it and they will "give" me a 1 year visa or will
I have to provide more documents ?.

The HR manager for the company I'm going to work for is on holidays right now and I'm a bit alone to handle this process.
The company is not located in thailand so they will send me all documents needed but the HR assistant has no experience
in this matter like me and if I miss a step that's one week waiting to get another or more documents from my company.

I need to apply for a non immigrant B visa and having check different sources on internet, I’m a bit confused about the documents require to do so.



Right now I’m living in Thailand under a tourist via and I intend to go to Laos to make this step.



For what I understand the company needs to provide:



-          Letter of recommendation

-          Copy of registration documents



1) Did the need to provide me something else?

2) Do you have any idea about what they have to write on this recommendation letter?

3) Should I give the original letter to the consulate or give a copy and keep the original with me in order to be able to show this letter if requested?

4) What are these registration documents?

For what I know the Regional head office of the company is in Hong Kong but they have also a subsidiary in Bangkok so can I provide documents from the Head office in HK or do I need the Thai documents or both?

Can it be copies or only originals?



For what I understand I need to provide:



1) Filling the administrative form

2) Passport

3) Photo

4) Visa fee

Any help will be appreciated
