Two Red letter days on the Calender !!!!
This will affect those needed to do Visas at Immigration. You can bet your little booties they will be closed!
May 1st , I gather is "Labour Day" the second holiday is on the Saturday 5th, but Monday 7th is when places will be closed (if not both days!)
Some shops may also close, I would guess government offices too... probably the Post office also....
Plan ahead! Especially for Immigration.

Infrastructure Nanthon To Hau Thanon

I've driven around the island twice in the last week and could not help but notice that the road between, Nanthon and Hau Thanon (AKA Muslim Village) is being set up with what looks like good drainage pipes and black water pipe.... is being done before one would think they black top the whole section... ?
From the looks of it, getting it right... !
It's also good to see that they are building quite a number that I have seen on some of the side roads, very large cement water holding tanks, for periods of drought. They are not always obvious but I have probably seen 1/2 a dozen here and there....
Then too, there are quite a number of new higher electrical power lines being installed.....
and lines being re wired.... Wow!
That's not just on the section of road mentioned, but on quite a number of Soi's....around the island.... THEN TOO... cementing a number of roads going into the centre of the island.... Progress!
I now this might bring a few cynical comments...
it's not all going to happen over night.... but going in the right direction....

This seems to be a problem since the new format.
While responding to a post (sometimes with a lot of detail,) the page seems to automatically "refresh" and everything written, just disappears .
Extremely irritating to say the least! ...... Is there some glitch in the system causing this? (I am using Mac) I thought previously that perhaps I miss clicked my Magic mouse, but was not touching it when this happened this morning....
This has happened twice this morning whilst trying to give a response.... some days all ok... ??? Any ideas? Thx!
