I have lived by the sea for most of my life and do not see a real problem with people walking around with no shirt on during the daytime. You pop into a shop to buy an ice cream, a bottle of pop, water or a newspaper and it is no problem at all. Walking down the street, on a bus no problem. Sitting at a seaside bar with no shirt on? No problem either.

Going to the bank, doing the weekly shop, into a mall or similar. Wear a shirt. Going for a night out, wear a shirt.

I am not slim but even I am sometimes taken aback by the sheer size of some fat men here who must really must have to fumble around to find their dick beneath those massive stomachs when going for a piss.
To see these huge overhangs wobbling down the street with no top on is very off-putting. Some need to lean backwards to stop themselves from toppling forward and that pushes their massive protrusions out even further. Posted Image

What is just as bad are those women with sags down to their navels and wrinkles, walking around in bikinis or bathing suits. The same has to go for those huge women with too little on and too much wobbling flesh on show.Posted Image

A wee bit of common sense and some pride should tell these people what to wear.

A young, slim man or woman walking about with less clothing seems much more natural.
very good post totaly agree

Around the old bus station in the center of town you'll find rental shops as well as song tows and tuktuk's.

I have done the trip from bus station to bus station in less than two hours in my car. This can only be done late in the day when there isn't much traffic and you know the road. If your driving yourself for the first time expect it to take 3 hours plus.

correct done the drive a few times 3 hours

Good advice ... for a TOURIST. Explore the area. Most times real people in real life just NEED to get between point A and point B in the most EFFICIENT manner. And have fun carrying perishable groceries for two hours in the tropical heat. Posted Image

You're spoiling my fun.

But, seriously, and I realise that I am almost alone in this, I do work here, and I do take my time.
I've come to understand that in life, I don't like to hurry and I don't like stress or being late, so I've created a life for myself that has massive amounts of space, so I can take my time.
It doesn't pay as well, but then neither does it give me ulcers.

OMG I just realised what I said. I sound just like a Thai! Maybe I'm not alone and maybe I'm in the right place, haha.

But yes, point taken.
If I did that run and had to be efficient with my time, I would take the shit bus and complain about it too.
But if I did it long time, I would create space for a longer trip or pay for a fast and comfortable trip. I do not like long term stressors in my life, apart from cigarettes.

very good answer
