Hi all,
i am flying back into Bangkok on Thursday evening at 7pm. I am just trying to find out the flood situation and will i be able to get to Silom road from the airport?
I would need to get to the British Embassy on Friday morning as well, is this possible to do.
Thanks in advance for any information.
Reagrd Geordie.

Hi all,
friend of mine was living in loei now wants to divorce his wife, i think she is in agreement with it. I have advised him to talk to a lawyer before he goes to the Amphur with her.
Can anyone give me contact details for a decent lawyer that speaks English in or around the Loei area, my friend is planning to come over to Thailand around the end of January.
Thanks in advance,
Geordie

Kl Visa Run

Just got back from KL with a new Non O Multi entry visa.
Documents submitted,
Thai marraige certificate, original and copy. Copy signed and dated
my myself and wife.
Wifes ID card, copy of both sides and signed and dated by my wife.
Wife's Taibann book copy, signed and dated by my wife.
Daughters Birth certificate, original and copy. Copy signed and dated by myself and wife.
Bank book showing the required amount for the non o visa, all pages copied signed and dated by myself.
Letter from UK Embassy comfirming my address in Thailand. Original and copy signed and dated my myself.
Letter from my wife to Thai Embassy giving her reasons why i need the Non O multi.
My work contract, which states what i earn and that i work outside Thailand on a 6 week on 6 week off rotation.
Arrived at the Embassy Tuesday morning 8.30am, Visa section opened at 9.30am, documents and application form handed in. Documents checked and originals given back.
Out by 10.00am
Arrived back at Embassy Wednesday 2pm for collection, visa section opened 2.30pm. Passport with new visa collected and on my way back to airport by 2.35pm.
3 day round trip but well worth going to KL for me, it was a lot less expensive than going to the consulate in Hull UK as that is where i ussually make my visa.
I probably submitted more documents than i needed to but i thought it was better to give what ever i could.
Hope this post helps anyone that is thinking of applying in KL

Kl Visa Run

Hi all,
i am flying to KL on Monday to apply for my non O multi entry. I would normally do this in the UK but cannot be bothered to fly there.
It will be easier and cheaper to do this in KL. I have all the paper work ready + money in the bank.
I would like to know how easy it is getting to the city center and what transport i should take, i am booked into the De Palma hotel Ampang, Selangor.
Thanks in advance for any ideas.
