This is not the kind of place you would expect to find prudish people. It's ok to have ladyboys displaying their fake tits all over town and ladies to parade around half naked, but the shirtless Farang who pay for it all are not tolerated.

I suggest the OP find a conservative town somewhere or take a chill pill.

Well said, couldn't agree more. I'm aware that Thais are expected to dress appropriately but we are merely farang and this is a beach resort.
Perhaps these people didn't get used to the temperature. Live and let live!

I'm sure that most bar girls are here merely to assist their families back home or escape the life there.
Pattaya's streets are paved with fat, rich farang just ready for plucking (I know, I know).

Similarly Beach Road is packed with katoeys who can't prance around in Nackon Nowhere. That's Pattaya!
