Could not find anything with the search function and this spelling. We have an irrigation dam which is about 8 metres deep, vertical sides. We put pla nin, jalomet and tub tim in about 1400 fingerlings in total. This was in September last year. Purely as a hobby, maybe sell some to defray food costs. Feed them with pellets from the 20kg bag at about 280-300b.
Long story short, the jalomet were in greater numbers and grew to a sellable size, as did the tub tim. The pla nin were an edible size but not really big enough to sell. Family members using fishing poles caught quite a few for us and we were able to sell it all. However as one might expect they took all the pla nin of an edible size as well as many jalomet only a few tub tim. Now almost nothing will take the bait. We got a net and couldn't catch the jalomet either, water is too deep for the net. They seem to like the deep water, when they feed they zoom up from the deep, grab a pellett, then duck straight back down. Otherwise you never see them but the other two kinds are always close to the surface.
My problem is I want to get rid of the jalomet, we got too many of them and they are very voracious feeders meaning the second generation of the other two is coming on very slowly. And the locals will buy them for 40b but they dont really like them. Draining the dam is not an option and no I haven't got any dynamite. Should I just withhold food and then try an intensive fishing effort?

We are producing from 140 trees this year and bringing up 250 more. On 3 plots and all our infrastructure is in place. Just wanted to know if there was any interest in comparing notes on techniques, fertilisers, prices, or just as an information resource etc. I'm in Pong Nam Ron East Thailand where there is a lot of this stuff. The only topic I could find here is several years old.

Long Term Business Visa Nz
2012-03-30 08:16:27
I have informally helped a Thai couple I know with completing an application for the above NZ1058. They are almost ready to submit it. The cost is very high $2800NZ presumably that is to deter applications from people who aren't serious. Would that be right?
Secondly, they wish to open a shop there and eventually settle if it all works out, I think their application looks pretty good, however at one point details of their existing businesses in Thailand are required, financial statements, tax returns, licenses, organisation charts or a report on these things from an internationally recognised accounting firm are quoted as the sorts of things Kiwi immigration is looking for. Despite their businesses employing 25 or more people and making substantial profits they have none of these, all they are able to show would be bank deposits. Would that be sufficient?
Lastly what would a migration agent charge to oversee this process for them?

Non-O To 90 Day Reporting
2011-05-09 15:34:34
My 2nd Non-O Marriage Visa expires in October. As per the first one I will exit the country at that time and reenter getting a further 3 months to January at which time I want to go onto 90 day reporting. Provided I meet the conditions salting the money etc, what happens? Do they put a stamp in your passport then and every 90 days? What about if you need to travel back to Aus for family reasons (or anywhere for that matter) and this extended more than just a normal holiday is this a potential problem? Simple question I know just wanted to make sure as I can see that I will have to go back at least twice in the future.
