Enquiry Made At The Royal Thai Embassy Singapore ( Non Imm -O)
2012-03-30 11:49:55
While in the Embassy on Orchard Road making a passport renewal for one of my children, I took the time to confirm requirements for a 12 month Non Imm -O Multi Entry visa (marraige to a Thai citizen).
As I am residing in Singapore this visa is available but with the following changes that I was unaware of.
In addition to the signed and dated photocopies of my wifes i.d., Tambien Bahn, now there is a requirement that my wife must write a letter of invitation to confirm who I am and that she is agreeing that I am coming to stay with her, at our (her) house.
I wasn't aware of this letter of invite, although we have been asked for the same when ahe applied for a tourist Visa for the UK.
Also, I asked about the requirement for travel tickets and was told that only proof of a ticket into Thailand is required. Proof of finances are also required, although I didn't ask about the cut off limit.
For Your Info.

Thai Childs Passport Application In Singapore
2012-03-30 11:39:40
My family and I are residing in Singapore (my work) and my youngest girl needs a new passport which has 7 months validity on it.
Went to the Thai Embassy on Orchard Road for the application.
My daughter is 4, she was born in Singapore and given a Thai passport issued through the Embassy here. She is not entered into the Tambien Bahn back in Thailand.
This is a problem.
As she is not registered in a Tambien Bahn, there may be a problem with renewing her passport. The application has gone in and the staff there said they would notify us when they know the situation. I,m not sure if it will be successful or not. Will have to wait for a week or two to find out.
If we can't renew her passport here, it means treking back to Korat to get her into the Tambien Bahn, applying for and waiting for the passport to come through over there, then returning back to Singapore (by the time we get back to Korat, the passport will have less than 6 months, meaning that there is then a problem with the airline, so would have to renew over there, taking about a week also).
Unfortunately, this means we all have to go back to do this, as I'm also required to sign forms. More time off work.
Seems like a real run around to me and pain in the a**.

Child Abduction / Murder - Pak Chong
2012-03-26 11:39:42
My brother in law's, mother in law, lives at Pak Chong, my neice (his daughter) is living with her (going to school there). Last Monday she reported to my mother in law that four primary school aged girls were snatched from the street on their way to school. Whether or not this was witnessed or not I'm not sure.
Either yesterday or today, the same girls were found near to where they disappeared from but unfortunately all the girls were dead. It is apparent that they have had some of their internal organs removed.
Does anyone have any other information of this?
I don't know the girls or their families.
Sounds so shocking, the girls are being cremated in Pak Chong today.
Sorry not to be more specific on the actual location of this event.

British Thugs In Court For Robbing Malaysian Student

The clip speaks for itself.
What is amazing is that the victim, "Ashraf Haziq", says he has no ill feelings about what happened.

These guys will receive several years, probably out in a year. Shameless!!
Would be better for them to do time in Malaysia.
