There is a clinic upcountry next to my local baker that has foetuses in medicinal jars on display in the shop window.

Knowing that foetuses are sometimes kept in Thailand for shrines and the such, I don't see his crime as that heinous. You can say how distasteful it is that this is the case, but nonetheless, it is the case.   I doubt he was killing women to harvest them.  It is no doubt a bizarre thing to want to buy, but I don't presume that he was the one carrying out the abortions or harvesting them himself.

There are other perpetrators in the list who have carried out the operations and even more worryingly actively sold them.

#5188371 Thailand's DSI Finds Prescriptions Abused In Civil Service Health Scheme

Posted belg on 2012-04-03 15:26:40

for anything and everything in this country, doctors prescribe 2-3 days worth of antibiotics...even for a common flue...

no use at all as you do not cure flue with antibiotics, you will get resistance to the drugs

the private hospitals should be renamed commercial hospitals... normal price x 3 -  5 and they do not practise medicine, they practise selling

hypocrate oat became hypocrite self serving

You may wish to read this article which demonstrates that elderly white males are more likely to commit suicide.  Its a known social phenomena and there are many reasons why.

i can see shattered glass in front of the mcD in that video.
i am not a bomb expert but if there would have been an explosion in front of it ... where's the glass supposed to be?
for me it looks like the explosion came from inside the building
Do you think that the only glass to be shattered in a car bomb outside an establishment would only be from the shop directly in front of it? No, neither do I.. There are several windows above which would come raining down and it's also possible the glass you see is from the car and others that may have been damaged right?

My wife knows an ex-student of hers works at Mc D's. She said they don't have gas.
I did a bit of googling myself, and MacDs latest environmental programs are for all electric, and have been since 2010. They used to use gas in TH, but for environmental issues and costs, as electric is on a par, alledgedly, with gas prices at their franchise outlets and their volunes of usage, that it would appear that McDs don't use gas for cooking in Thailand nor other Asian franchises. Of course, I may well be stood corrected, but early indications show McDs are now all for electrical only cooking, and have been practising this in all new operations since 2010.
A lot of this practise would also be the responsibility of the franchisee, and knowing TIT maybe gas could have been implemented. We shall see, when further accurate details appear, if ever.

A normal bomb has different acoustic characteristics to a gas explosion, a gas explosion propagates at the speed of sound and produces a long drawn out boom. A chemical explosive propagates much faster and produces a sharper boom.

if eventually you have to marry, convert her to the religion of your choice before marrying her (except M'sia)

only if she is mainstream and non religious, and her belief in your worthy companionship is stronger than the religious belief

Does not work... Muslims CAN NOT convert from the Islamic believe point of view. There is no way out of being a muslima.

“All of them have been charged with armed robbery and receiving stolen property,” Lt Col Chatchawan said.

I have been told that unless the witnesses are there to testify in court, the charges are dropped. I imagine the same will happen here. Arrested to satisfy German Embassy, period. Trial date? Safely after German girls go home.

In a lot of societies like Australia for instance, the prosecution will want a conviction in a serious crime such as this and that requires the victim and key witnesses to be available.  The prosection would accomadate the victim in the country and bare the costs and take care of visa requirements.  The court could even make an order at the request of the prosection that immigration extend a visa.  But hey Australia is a different society.
