Credit Cards Advantages And Disadvantages

I went and paid my internet provaider (3BB) for a year and got 10% off. So later I got to my great surprise, the two next months a bill for more rent. Found all my  bills and receipts I had received as I did the payment and went back to the same office across Tesco Lotus. Strange but now suddenly theire English skills are not so good anymore and they did not accept anything other than that I had to pay for two months.
I went home and took with me my Thai wife and proof from that it was paid by credit card, and emphasized the line with the broad marker pen in blue!

  Viola ... Suddenly, I could forget about the two bills, there had been a mistake from one of their employees and now they could suddenly straighten out everything!

  We said nothing, just smiled and politely wai.

I am planning crossing with my 1st Class Insured Toyota Vigo and hoping to bye Insurance for Laos as crossing the border.
Any problem, beside they drive on the right side of the roads...

Whitch Garmin To Bye?

I am thinking of bying a Garmin to use it 9 months here in Thailand and 3 months in Europe.
How is it to be used outside the towns here? Any experience with the Thai map/program?
Can you change the language between Thai and English. That must be practical as translation from Thai to English often brings you up to unwanted places....
Spesially good/experiece wanted for going in the lonlyland....

Online Order Ticket At Airasia

To my suprice I learned it is cheaper to order a ticket at an office or using a call-center for AirAsia then to do all the job for them online, and pay with a credit-card. Do you experience the same as me?
It must be in the compay AirAsia interest/cost to have people to order on internet. Now it looks like they use the same trix like in a grosery; when people think small bottles are cheaper then big on, increase the price!
