#5264353 How Difficult Is It To Import A Shotgun Into Thailand?

Posted joey88tc on 2012-05-01 07:56:48

get a shotgun........one of the most distintive sounds is some rackking(using the slide to put one in the chamber) a shotgun...most of the time that sound alone will get them running and telling all the lowlife friends about it...

#5207968 Top Ten Proofs You Have Been Acculturated In Thailand

Posted Zatoichi on 2012-04-11 05:31:50

You curse as well in Thai as you do in your own language and often with greater effect.

You only wear shoes when going out someplace nice.

You came to Thailand the kinda guy that wasn't very confident around women, now you can almost always pull any girl you want and don't care if you can't.

You can't imagine living without your house staff.

You hate or love Taksin with a passion.

You  Wai respectfully at the  shrine or Wat, and occasionally give offerings and pray there despite not being Buddhist, because it just feels right for were you are at.

You look around at the other passengers and giggle with your girl every time you get on the BTS and play "Guess who's getting off at Nana"

You know the holy trinity of Thai soaps and can spot them within 3 seconds of watching any Thai soap (The good girl, the evil Bytch, and the dumb guy they both like)

You Drive in Bangkok like it was nothing.

#5136307 Kidnapped American Girl Found In Thailand 5 Years Later

If this guy left the US via the UK, he is very lucky to have got away with it.  Most western countries don't like middle-aged men travelling as the only adult with young children.  I speak from experience.  10 years ago I travelled with my younger daughter from NYC, where we were living at the time, to Ottawa, where we were moving to, in order to visit her new school.  My wife stayed behind in NYC with the older daughter.  At Canadian immigration I faced a grilling about why I was travelling with a young girl.  She was then interviewed by the immigration officer - I was told to stand 2m away and to make no sound or gesture.  Eventually the immigration officer told me he was going to give me the benefit of the doubt, but if I ever thought of doing this again, I had better get a notarized letter from the mother.
