The Russian-speaking IT community has been recently livened up by the  following information the author of which invites everyone to work  "telecommuting" on the Koh Phangan island of Thailand.

The "Thaicamp"  freelance project is based upon a resort – some separate houses, a pool,  a beach, a terraced restaurant and, finally, an office for serious  people who relax too much when working in a chaise longue. As expected  from the place, the Internet is accessible in the whole territory of the  complex. The resort is called (no reason to conceal it) Niramoon  Sunview Villa, and situated on the island's western coast.The project's  advantage is the founder's wish to set up all the conditions for solving  common financial and legal problems of the freelancers living in  Thailand: working with electronic currency, solving visa problems,  signing contracts with employers.  By the way, the founder has  significant experience of doing business and several firms in operation.  This guarantees the stability of the project management and, at the  same time, prevents from shaping one more lifeless "co-working" with an  astonishing price tag and no glitter in the participants' eyes.In the  end, I'd like to mention that personally to me, Phangan seems the best  place in Thailand with a unique atmosphere of freedom and ecological  advancement. Many people have been hanging out on the island for months  and years. The population is very young in comparison with many popular  resorts inhabited by 70-year-old men on crutches with two prostitutes on  each side.

Project Characteristics:

32 separate terraced dwelling houses  for two (from conditioned first-line houses to romantic bungalows with a  hammock);
Minimal duration of stay is 1 month. Maximal period is not  limited;
Cost of accommodation depends on the chosen house and the  duration of stay. Prices vary from $225 per month for DBL/BGL (double  bungalow) to $1000 per month for DBL/Pool view/Ocean view;
Smorgasbord is  included at $6 per day (natural food, seafood, and fruit), with evening  barbecues near the pool. On special meal demands a restaurant menu is  available at a 30% discount and with delivery to the house;
Free Wi-Fi  in the campus territory and the possibility to install a personal  allocated channel (6 MB) at the house;
An office for 26 persons (air  conditioner, shower, tea, coffee);
A restaurant zone (up to 38 persons):  tables (220v sockets), Wii, billiard, printer, scanner;A chillout zone  (up to 20 persons) – low tables (22ov sockets, beach beds);
An open  terrace zone near the restaurant (20 persons);
A pool zone: beach beds,  tables, bar, barbecue, children's pool, Jacuzzi, shower;
There are  restaurants and bars close to the place;
The campus provides freelancers  with cheap motorbikes (from 150 thb per 24 hours) and cars (from 500  thb per 24 hours).

Can any of the specialists comment  on this project? Is working freelance in Thailand legal when staying on a  tourist visa? Can someone who has stayed in Koh Phangan at this resort  (Niramoon Sunview Villa) comment on the prices? Aren't they overstated?

todai i eating in thai style cafe, and when i take checkbill.... o_O! kau pad muu + tom yum kung + 0.33 bottle fanta = more 200 THB

200+ THB in thai cafe it not normal

or may be who know about mujum (mutiyum, or same name - i dont know english tranlation for its place) (place where you can take unlim products and cooking indenpendently. in BKK, CM, south islands - price 89-129 THB for one person + drinks pay extra)
