Constantly: Ka-Ka-Ka

In what I do I have been recently putting together a database of all the resorts on these islands and boy (!), these islands look spectacular.

I've been to Koh Libong, and it was o.k., but it looks as though these islands are a lot more special.

You can go ground and head down to Trang to get out there, but what looks like might be a better route is to go to Lanta, maybe overnight and then jump a boat from there. Granted this time of year due to weather you might stay ground, but water looks better from Lanta anyway.

If any of you have stayed out at these islands please give a report on where you stayed and what you thought, when I get a window of time off and good weather I'm going to check it out.

Is that it for high season weather for this year? Seems a bit early, no?

Good news/bad news I suppose, good news;it seemed like we didn't have so many of those completely scorching March/April days, bad news;"who'll stop the rain"

I don't know if I am allowed to do this, but here I go anyway.

State of the Forum in this posters view is bleak. I think we should make some basic rules, because in the few years I've been on here it has spiraled in what one poster said was "a bunch of old women".  After having seen the answers to a couple easy topics today, I'm almost ready to agree.............Stupid arguments over much ado about nuthin.

A guy can't ask about specific Songkran Days, nor about a watersport without the group here jumping on a suitcase like a Samsonite Monkey.

So what do you say we clean it up.

1. if you have something helpful, insightful or a direct answer, post. Otherwise don't.
2. telling someone to go use Google, is bad netiquette, out right rude
3. if you want to contribute (#1), maybe you could take a  shot at #2, then post saying what you found
4.if you are just out for an argument, go kick the dog instead (although I hope it bites you or pees in the house in response)
5.try and be positive at least 95% of the time

I was recently coming back from the airport, and stopped at the light at Central Festival. Across from Central on the corner are now multiple billboards and when they ran out of room, they now have erected another above the ones that now occupy the entire corner.

I get to Sai Yuan, and where the little cut through road goes back over to Wiset there is a ginormous billboard for Rossovino, yet Rossovino is back on Wiset a couple kilometers behind where the obnoxious sign is!

I understand it's some easy money for the landlords but jeez, when will enough be enough?
