I could see delaying the increase for very small businesses, less than five employees say. But larger businesses and especially businesses with over 20 employees need to pay up and stop exploiting their own citizens. If a business can't pay its employees a living wage, then it's not a viable business anyway.

What's wrong with that? It's not unusual for people to invest a year's worth of salary into a vehicle, and as per the OP it seems that MP's get a million baht a year in salary, so it's not so outlandish for him to spend that amount of..... oh, wait a sec... you said dollar.... uhmmmm, never mind.
