My son will be 4 in August and we had planned to start him in school next month – we have even bought the uniforms. My wife and I have been thinking about it though, and we are considering waiting until next year. This is partly selfish because he is our first child and we want to have more time with him, but it is also because I feel that he is going to have long enough time in school. We were planning on starting him in anuban 1, but wonder if we would be better waiting until next year. He socialises with other kids already and my wife has thought him his Gaw Gai and ABCs. We both work from home so can spend a lot of time with him. What do other people think? Would delaying another year until he is almost 5 be a bad idea?

Best Place To Park Near Mrt Or Bts?
2010-07-01 08:23:04
Hi Guys, I live in Nong Chok and I like to travel into the centre of BKK occasionally. I hate driving when the traffic gets too bad. I was just wondering if anyone knows of a good place to park near a BTS or MRT station; maybe a shopping center or something? I think when the airport link is running regularly it will be easier, but does anyone have any suggestion for now. Basically I just want somewhere near the BTS or MRT that isn't too hard to get to and will be easy find parking. Once I've access to the trains I can go most places that I want to go. Thanks
Joe
Freelancer With Income From Abroad

Hi, I have been in Thailand for a few years now but up until recently had a work permit for teaching. I am now doing freelance work where I am getting paid from abroad.
I was wondering about the law in regards to work permits and those who get paid from abroad - do I actually need one?
I do know that technically work can mean any type of exertion but as a practically would this be considered working in Thailand.
I am also married to a Thai so was wondering if I could continue on one year extensions so long as I can show 40,000THB coming from abroad each month??
I am under fifty and have one child if that makes a difference?
