Just been chatting with a mate of mine, French Guy. He tells me to apply for a retirement AO in Paris, they have many options. Depending on age, eg over 60 you only required to show 200 000 or an income of 20 000 baht per month.
At 55 years of age 500 000 or 50 000 per month.
Hey I wonder, do the French have special agreement with Thailand???
Any French member can you comment?

Insurance Or Scam

I renewed my car insurance policy starting as from last month, since then had many phone calls. The Phone sales state my cover is not enough and should increase by more 2000 Baht, I already paid you more than 18 000.
Anyone can advise me what to do. I think I should get a new policy, yesterday the phone sales from VIRIYAH say you must cancel this policy if I don't increase the cover.
I really don’t know why this wasn’t all sorted out at the time I purchased the policy; I find this all very strange and a bit unethical from such a large company.
Do members think this a fair and legal system?
BTW Car is Toyota Avanza 1500 S 1 year old

I have done a search for this topic with no luck. I am due to renew my retirement extension next month, in Mea Sai. Just wonder anyone knows how many days before, I can get my income verification letter? Validation period? Cheers
