  1. The TT 200 is at the motor show. 169k on road and here in July. The little 180cc twin cam motor really revs and sounds great with a scomadi pipe. Sent from my EVA-L19 using Tapatalk
  2. I'm employed at the Movepick resort. We have a satisfaction survey that customers fill out to ensure we can improve facilities or services for when they return. A vast majority don't want to fill it out because they have no intention of returning to Phuket. The ones that do fill it out complain about the usual stuff. Rip offs, taxi rudeness. Families stay in the Kata and Karon area to avoid the Patong filth but it's crept over the mountain. Families spend more money on taxis to reach these so called attractions. 2500 baht return from Karon Movenpick to Tiger kingdom. It's more than the attraction itself. I have tried to put a positive spin on Phuket to all our guests but I've given up defending the place. My contract is up and I declined to reapply. They want me to stay but it's just not worth the stress. The locals just don't care about anyone but themselves. I've worked in Jamaica where it's much like Phuket but nowhere near as bad as this. They care and protect their visitors. It's engrained in their culture. Phukets culture is take take take and take some more. You can defend it all you like, you're invested here longterm so I understand. I just hope you haven't got all your eggs in one basket. Sent from my EVA-L19 using Tapatalk
  3. That's why 70% of first time visitors never return to Phuket. There just isn't enough for families on the island. Factor in the bad experiences also and that what's you get. These are numbers hidden by TAT. They just target lower quality markets to hit their continual economy hurting goals of arrival numbers. They care for nothing else. 4. That's on the old shifty 2 stroke vespas. They just bought out the px series to Thailand. Last of the series. Euro 4 killed the 2 stroke so get one if you want some nostalgia because they don't build them anymore. 239k baht on road. Sent from my EVA-L19 using Tapatalk
  5. You know Nothing about the bike yet you still carry on. Some people want the latest technology and exclusivity. Not some rehashed Honda engine that's 20 year old design and thin plastics. If you can't afford it that's fine but don't comment on the bike because you know nothing about them. Sent from my EVA-L19 using Tapatalk
  6. Much nicer than the HD 48 sportster but bikes like this have no place on Phuket roads. If I lived in the mountains of Chaing mai I'd be all over this bike. Sent from my EVA-L19 using Tapatalk
  7. French? Well it's made in Italy by an Italian company. Want to make anymore wild statements you know nothing about? Sent from my EVA-L19 using Tapatalk
  8. If you have ever owned one you'd realize you're way off the mark. The fit and finish is way beyond the Thai bikes and so is the technology of the engines. Import duties hurt them but it's way more bike that a PCX or NMAX. I'd definitely be buying another piaggio once the Beverly 350 arrives. Sent from my EVA-L19 using Tapatalk
  9. They are actually great bikes. I tested the same Medley just week. The technology on these things are great. The new 4 valve engine is marvelous. Very nice delivery. Piaggio always gets the top technology first and it will translate to the Vespa brand much later on. (Vespa still has the 3 valve engine) Good thing is Vespa dealerships service them. I own a Piaggio Beverly 300 and it's amazing. Ugly yes. Sent from my EVA-L19 using Tapatalk
  10. They should be ashamed. The island makes billions of baht a year in tourism. It should be the model province for the rest of Thailand yet its a dump. Phuket shouldn't be considered an international destination just because it has a shiny new airport because as shown, just 3kms away the rest if the place is crumbling. My work contract is up at year end and I will not be renewing and will be happy to say goodbye to this problem plagued destination. I speak to guests and more than half say they won't return due to some sort of negative experience. Sent from my EVA-L19 using Tapatalk
  11. Locals want the cash cow to abuse once again. Good work keeping it closed. Sent from my EVA-L19 using Tapatalk
  12. How about some public buses? You know, like the coaches that clog up the roads that create the traffic. That kind. Not the kind that's a converted rice truck. Get your standards up. Sent from my EVA-L19 using Tapatalk
  13. Go to homepro and ask for Sika. Applies like paint. That's the stuff to use. It's pretty cheap and easy to apply. Sent from my EVA-L19 using Tapatalk
  14. Taxi drivers are nearly all from up there. Phuket is full of them. Even Thais don't trust people from that province. Sent from my EVA-L19 using Tapatalk
  15. That market has sailed. You need to fix many things before the Germans return. Sent from my EVA-L19 using Tapatalk
