  1. New government? The fix is already in. The new PM and cabinet will be same as the current. Sent from my SM-J710F using Thailand Forum - Thaivisa mobile app
  2. I would like the see the guy locked up, but The UK do not have grounds to extradite. He has not committed a crime in the UK, and there is no request for extradition from thailand. Thailand wont even issue a thai arrest warrant... Sent from my SM-J710F using Thailand Forum - Thaivisa mobile app
  3. Statement from Office of the Attorney-General (OAG) deputy spokesman Prayut Phetkhun: "This is the last, last, last, last, last, last deadline. If he wouldn't show up, they would consider, think about, contemplate, give thought to, reflect on, examine, appraise, study, mull over, ponder, deliberate over, cogitate about, chew over, meditate on, meditate over, ruminate over, turn over in one's mind, assess and evaluate issuing an arrest warrant for him, maybe." Not a chance he is showing up...
  4. The so called elections will be a complete farce. Between this Politburo, the hand picked Senate, and an NCPO prime minister, the elected government will have as much relevance and power as the current rubber stamp NLA. Sent from my SM-J710F using Thailand Forum - Thaivisa mobile app
  5. Doesnt Uber provide basically the same by default? Seems a lot easier and cheaper for the taxi drivers to just download the Uber app onto phones they already own and just become Uber drivers. However, with the Uber rating system, it would be interesting to see how many would last a week... Sent from my SM-J710F using Thailand Forum - Thaivisa mobile app
  6. The cross gulf routes make sense because of the time savings, but the ko chang route will be a harder sell. Even with the ferry crossing, the drive to ko chang will be faster, and the ferries carry vehicles. Sent from my SM-J710F using Thailand Forum - Thaivisa mobile app
  7. I think the headline should just read "The Army to be part of everything " Sent from my SM-J710F using Thailand Forum - Thaivisa mobile app
  8. We will never know. The 11 cctv cameras were removed a week prior as part of traffic signal maintenance. Funny how that always happens. Sent from my SM-J710F using Thailand Forum - Thaivisa mobile app
  9. "Something is rotten in the state of Denmark Thailand." Hamlet (1.4), Marcellus to Horatio
  10. Just needs one quick fix: DEPUTY NATIONAL police chief Srivara Rangsibrahmanakul admitted yesterday that he had no idea how to proceed with the any case.
  11. You are absolutely right. It is the classic ponzi scheme. I'm just always surprised when, in this age of widely obtainable information, that people let their greed impair their good judgement. Sent from my SM-J710F using Thailand Forum - Thaivisa mobile app
  12. Doctors are supposedly educated. Anyone who buys into an investment expecting 6 to 18 percent return a month deserves to be scammed. Sent from my SM-J710F using Thailand Forum - Thaivisa mobile app
  13. This was predicted in 2014 in an Economist article. http://www.economist.com/blogs/banyan/2014/10/thailands-economy The article predicted that loss of investment and gdp growth would cost Thailand 20 to 30 billion usd over 3 years. So far, the article has been spot on. The coup cost much more than even the inflated estimates of the cost of the rice scheme. Good job junta! 15. I agree this is a useful measure, however, they are as usual going after the poor and defenceless. No measures have, or will, be taken against the Benz drivers doing 240km/h and actually causing the accidents. Sent from my SM-J710F using Thailand Forum - Thaivisa mobile app
