  1. Just one small task beforehand. Find a reason to disband the PTP and it will be clear sailing for Prayut and his band of crooks. Sent from my SM-N950U1 using Thailand Forum - Thaivisa mobile app

  3. Not every comment on race is racist. If i call you a moron, does that make me a moronist? Maybe, but thats not the point... Sent from my SM-N950U1 using Thailand Forum - Thaivisa mobile app
  4. its not racist if the facts are true. The racist card is thrown around so much by people with little understanding of what it means. The mere mention of race is not automatically racist. It is all about context. Cmon. You are better than that... Sent from my SM-N950U1 using Thailand Forum - Thaivisa mobile app
  5. UK is starting fresh. The canadian trade deal took 7 years to negotiate, and i think you will find most take that long. Eventually there will be a deal, but the UK will experience a lot of pain in the meanwhile. I have been following all the threads on Brexit, and have yet to see even a single pro Brexit poster with even the slightest economic or international finance knowledge necessary to even begin to understand the ramifications of a no deal Brexit. It is mostly xenophobic and emotional responses. The irony is that the blue collar class, who seem to make up a lot of the Brexiteers, will be the first to feel the impact and will be hit the hardest. They are whining that the government wont exit, and will be the first to whine when things go south as a result. Sent from my SM-N950U1 using Thailand Forum - Thaivisa mobile app
  6. I would not be (and am not) concerned about action against existing real estate owned in the "grey area". It is literally a 7 to 10 year legal process before the government could potentially take the property, and each house/condo/business is an individual case. This would require too much effort by the Thais. They will do as they always do - make a large gesture such as this to give the appearance that something is being done. They may tighten things up, but it would have to happen at the source, and the Land Office may not be willing to give up this source of income. Of course there is a risk in owning property through a nominee, but this risk is generally built into the asset price, with foreign owned condos selling at a premium to thai ownership. 8. Five years in, the time for benefit of the doubt is ling gone. This regime has shown their true colours. Sent from my SM-N950U1 using Thailand Forum - Thaivisa mobile app
  9. This is exactly the reason Yingluck was impeached. But ok when you are "good" people with full amnesty. The hypocrisy of this government and its supporters is beyond belief. Sent from my SM-N950U1 using Thailand Forum - Thaivisa mobile app

Thaksin vows to fight for ‘democracy'

I actually agree with you. I wish i had more optimism for the future of this country but i dont see past or present rulers as the ones who will bring this country into the 21st century. Sent from my SM-N950U1 using Thailand Forum - Thaivisa mobile app

Thaksin vows to fight for ‘democracy'

I agree with you. Except the present regime will never be held accountable for their crimes. So they are worse in my book. Sent from my SM-N950U1 using Thailand Forum - Thaivisa mobile app

Easy to be a hero when your amnesty is enshrined in the constitution you wrote yourself. C'mon. You are better than that. Sent from my SM-N950U1 using Thailand Forum - Thaivisa mobile app

Now or never for unpopular land tax

You are exactly right. The NLA can pass a multi trillion baht budget in an afternoon, with half of them asleep. They country needs this tax, and they could have achieved one good thing in their useless 4 year tenure, but even failed at that. Sent from my SM-N950U1 using Thailand Forum - Thaivisa mobile app
  14. I'm sure you can figure it out considering Thai police will not take action in a personal case unless they are properly "incentivised". Sent from my SM-N950U1 using Thailand Forum - Thaivisa mobile app
  15. The problem with snowflakes throwing out islamaphobic and racsim accusations is that they generally have no idea of the real meanings of these issues, but throw them out there because this is their favourite way of being offended, amongst the hundreds of things that they seem to trigger their faux outrage. Lesson 1: criticizing a country with an abysmal human rights record, that happens to be a muslim country, is not islamaphobic. Sent from my SM-N950U1 using Thailand Forum - Thaivisa mobile app
