  1. It wouldn't make the slightest amount of difference and would be a horrible waste of money. SSD fitting makes a far greater difference and costs less to boot. Try sourcing a a 4GB DDR2 SODIMM and then compare it to the cost of a 120 GB solid state drive. The RAM is totally unnecessary and would make a negligible, if any, difference. The SSD makes all of the difference and that is where the money should go, regardless of whether the device could take 8 GB of RAM or not. 8GB of RAM if the applications you run need 8GB of RAM. Otherwise a total waste of money. My RAM usage never reaches 4GB, so how would having 8GB help with 'úsability'? So it isn't a matter of "if I can". There is no need for it, even if the device could utilise 8 GB of RAM.
  2. Perhaps you can show me where you think I went wrong..... I'll try to help you. Here is his quote; I welcome your showing me where you imagine I have misread...
  3. Wow....another brilliant TV poster..... Again read BEFORE posting comment. ezzra comment speaks of a man wearing a gun....when he clearly was not.
  4. He didn't have a gun....try reading the article before posting nonsense.
  5. Nonsense. Did anyone inform you that I have issues with it's usability? Which everyday application requires that you have 8GB of RAM? In any case, do you imagine that you can fit 8 GB of RAM to a twelve year old laptop? Having an SSD fitted will make more of a difference to usability than an extra 4 GB of RAM. Of course it has a solid state drive fitted. That's as good as it gets.

upgrade Windows 10 Home to Windows 10 Pro

You do appear to have a propensity for posting nonsense.
  7. It can really vary from model to model. ACER acquired eMachines, which sold low end crud that fell apart. So some of their models at the time were really eMachines. I'm posting from a solidly made ACER device proper. It's more than eleven years old, running Windows 10 Pro 64 bit with 4 GB of RAM. Paid perhaps 21000 baht for it, nearly twelve years ago, when the exchange rate was 70 baht to the Pound. The only time that I have ever purchased a 'new' laptop. So, in conclusion, they aren't all bad.
  8. Perhaps you missed the part wherein I pointed out that I am still using devices from 2008. In fact, the device from which I post today is from early 2007. So clearly the degradation of which you write, is not an issue. Write here in ten years about the condition of the item you have just purchased. Either way, it has a good specification. So happy days for you.

    Return flights from UK

I booked to fly with them since they put new aeroplanes on the route. But then they changed from a normal stopover to twenty five hours. I made them re-route me onto the Lufthansa A380 instead. Seems I dodged a bullet by the sounds of it.
  10. If it , as you suggest, addictive, then why is it suggested that just 10% become dependent? Secondly, are you referring to Yale Medicine? Which trials? Why have you not linked to them? WEith your super intact brain, it should be a doddle for you. What was the outcome? How about a little less copy and paste and instead debate what you actually know. I suspect you don't actually know anything. They do all kinds of research at Yale Medicine, also reporting on the positive effects. Having a one track mind or fixed point of view isn't actually a boon. Intelligence allows for opening up your mind to all arguments.
  11. The Centre for Social Justice (CSJ) is an independent centre-right think tank co-founded in 2004 by Iain Duncan Smith and Tim Montgomerie. It's a nice made up name. It seems his Universal Credit idea is also being lauded for it's 'social justice'. Penalising single mothers who go out to work in one instance and increasing homelessness and rent arrears in another. It appears than people who are shifted to UC tend to be worse off than they were before. There are three kinds of lies: lies, damned lies, and statistics. In other words, the whole thing is a pile of steaming BS. Vulnerable communities? What's going to happen to them if it is legalised? There is this assumption that people are not drinking alcohol or smoking tobacco or taking some other kind of legal, even prescribed substance. In fact we are probably in the top ten of alcohol consumption in the whole world. Isn't it the national pastime to go for a drink? Is that healthy or is it simply a recreational drug? So the suggestion that everything will take a turn for the worse because your local drug dealer will be out of a job......oh wait...that is perhaps the issue. That the local dealers out of a job will not only add to the unemployment queue, but they may turn to other crimes in order to replace lost income. If you are seeking a scenario in life where there are only positives, you'll be a long time a looking. The fact is that the natural substance has been proven to be beneficial Like any substance you will get abusers; Alcohol, cigarettes, food. But do alcohol and cigarettes have any positive benefits for health? Alcohol is a depressant. Cigarettes, a poison. But because they can have the effect of calming the masses and filling coffers with gold, nothing is said. Now certain governments have lined themselves up to profit from cannabis, they are ready to admit that it was never as bad as they suggested. Now this scaremongering nonsense? I tried it as a teenager and I'm still here to tell the tale. How about a balanced report instead of that biased crap?

South Road, they sit outside the temple until full. Central you can stand at the beginning of the market and check they aren't turning into Bua Khao. North, stand outside Best Supermarket.
