Foreign Affairs Min & Kenyan Embassy to jointly promote wildlife tourism

BANGKOK, 23 November 2017 (NNT) - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Embassy of Kenya in Bangkok are co-organizing a wildlife tourism campaign, celebrating the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Thailand and Kenya.

KTC and Kenya Airways have kicked off an activity publicizing safaris in Kenya. Ambassador Patrick Wamoto and officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs participated in the event.

Thailand and Kenya established diplomatic ties in 1967. Kenya is one of Thailand’s major economic partners in Africa. Trade value between two countries last year was close to 200 million US dollars.

KTC Executive Vice President Pittaya Vorapanyasakul said the campaign aims not only to satisfy the need of wildlife enthusiasts, but to foster friendship between Thailand and Kenya.

KENYA
Premier Parks & Reserves

African, world famous game reserves teeming with wildlife. Can Thailand offer a similar experience?

Will the wildlife in Pattaya and other game areas meet the same standard?

I thought the current thinking was to get rid of Kenyans. emoji21.png Now they are promoting them?

AFAIK Kenyans have not been a problem in Thailand, it's their cousins across the continent in West Africa that have been a nuisance to the community.

Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) has reviewed her parks and reserves entry fees downwards starting November 1, 2016. Thus all entry fees to KWS managed National Parks and Reserves have been capped at USD 60 for adult non residents and Ksh.860 for adult Kenyan citizens.

What lurks beneath the coconut palms? The hunters or the hunted?
