Customs at Aranyaprathet said they had found 50,350 unused DTAC SIM cards in a trolley left at the border.

Earlier officials had received a tip off that a consignment of SIM cards was being smuggled across by a Cambodian man.

Inspections had therefore been stepped up.

The trolley containing three large bags was found Thursday after it was abandoned on Wednesday.

Customs suspect a Cambodian criminal gang is behind the delivery and are coordinating with their counterparts across the border to find who left them there.

Whilst the time between Wednesday and Thursday could be as short as 1 minute, I have my doubts in this case.

So a large trolley with 3 bags on board was left unattended at a border crossing?
