Fishing boats must register to continue operations, by February 20

BANGKOK, 9th February 2018 (NNT) - Fishing boats have been asked to file requests for new boating and fishing licenses by this February 20 as part of the government’s continued effort to better regulate the sector.

Pattaya neglecting cleanup of Naklua beaches

PATTAYA:--Works crews disappeared long ago from the northern end of Pattaya Beach, but the debris left over from the suspended sand-refill project remains, with dead animal remains making the situation worse.

PATTAYA:--Pattaya’s garbage crisis expanded to yet another neighborhood last month with residents of Naklua’s Rongmaikeed Community complaining that the city has left 800 tons of refuse there to rot.

HONG KONG (Reuters) - A former British banker who was jailed for life in 2016 for the murder of two Indonesian women he tortured and raped will not be given a new trial, Hong Kong's Court of Appeal ruled on Friday.
