You can hear some of the interview in English with John Volanthen here @ 8.34 where he's asked by a Thai female reporter, "What do you want to say to the kids?" and he quips back: "Don't go into caves when it's raining!"

Really impressed by the effort put in by many people around the world.

Here's a pretty interesting write up with some of the details behind the scenes:

Inside the Thai Cave Rescue

(Apologies if this has already been posted on TVF somewhere)

I doubt if money would be accepted by the brave divers.
However, a donation by the Thai powers to the British Cave Rescue Council ( and other bodies from other Countries ) would be a warm and generous gesture of thanks.
A donation of this kind would enable these brave men to continue doing what they do , as most of the organisations are donation funded.
This would mean more to these guys i,m sure.
Chokdee guys

Well said!!!!!

And they left with some good British humor that got the crowd laughing.

"Yeh. Don't be naughty again!"

A very generous crowd.

They need to cancel their work permit before they leave! 😁

I realize this is your attempt at humor, but I thought they were here as guests of the king.
