In this area, no you can't, Thai bodies only. Probably because of the legal situation.

Bangkok probably.

Please clearly state WHERE you refer to.

That would help make your post meaningful.

There was a very similar thread last month - possibly this will give you some useful information:

Well if you care to read the first post, I was responding to it, so the location was implied.

I don't bother to try to read minds so your "implication" was not meaningful.

Thanks anyway.

Why?  They get to sell your organs.  The get to desecrate your body.  Start reading contract from hospital regarding donations.  My eyes were open after spending tens of thousands of dollars attempting to get my wife impregnate.
Things that come to mind:

  • The doctor used an instrument to grasp my wife's uterus.  She was screaming in pain.  The doctor: "They are very few pain receptor in the uterus" and the <deleted> kept going.
  • Regarding the embryos.  "If you don't use them, you can kill them or dedicate them to research."  Me: "Who paid for this."  Doctor:
"It in the contract."  Sorry I didn't have a lawyer go through the multi-page contract, but then again, most childless couples are desperate.
  • After the procedure: Me: "I'd like the speak the the doctor."  In the mean time the doctor was having a 'chat' because I could overhear him.  45 minutes later "Oh, you wanted to talk to me?  Make an appointment for later this week." Me: I live 300 miles away and I'm here, standing if front of you now!" Doctor: "Sorry, I'm busy."
  • Understand that your body is your own and any work, samples, tissues, organ donations benefit the hospitals and their profit centers.  Your family deserves to be compensated considering the absolute gross amounts of money they charge you - but then want you to donate - for free, for the benefit of mankind!!!

Stop being a fool!

If I had control over my organ donations, as in - my organs are donated for free to the neediest, and the doctor doing the operations along with the hospital operates pro bono - Ok - different story.  But organ transplants are a money maker.  In fact, any 'donation' given to the hospital is a cash cow for them.  Yeah, they have departments set up to convince you it's a philanthropic, do-gooder act of compassion.  It's not!
It's all about profit motive and greed.  At least now.  If that changes - Ok.  But now?  You have to be kidding fool!

Remember:  You're a cog in the very lucrative wheel.  Don't buy into it.  The whole system needs overhauled and the profit motive taken completely out of it.  Don't hold your breath.  And don't buy into the bulls***.

OP, if you're healthy, you could donate some blood at a time when your heart is still pumping.

If a first time donor in this country, you have to be under 55!
