PRACHUAP KHIRI KHAN, 27th July 2018 (NNT) – The Office of the Consumers' Protection Board (CPB) has inspected transport safety at two water parks in Hua Hin district, Prachuap Khiri Khan province, to ensure the safety of Thai and international tourists.

CPB official Thitinun Singha on Thursday (July 26th) led a team of inspectors to examine the park rides at Wana Nava and Black Mountain water parks in Hua Hin, as part of the campaign ensuring the safety of visitors to theme parks and water parks.

According to the Ministry of Interior's code on amusement park rides regulation, park operators must ensure the safety of the rides, including swimming pools, to prevent potential accidents from poor maintenance.

Accidents in water parks can also happen from the negligence and lack of caution by visitors, especially when young children do not receive full attention from parents.

The CPB's campaign to ensure park safety is aimed to boost the confidence of visitors to theme parks in Hua Hin, which is an important resort town in Prachuap Khiri Khan. Visitors are encouraged to abide by safety instructions given by ride operators, while persons with concerns regarding the condition and safety of rides can inform the CPB by calling its 1166 hotline.

The headline implies that there were safety concerns which I believe is not the case.  A routine inspection is not really news.
