African man accused of romance scam

A 27-year-old man from Guinea-Bissau was arrested for allegedly forging documents to obtain a Thai visa and aiding a romance scam, said acting immigration police head Maj-Gen Surachate Hakpal.

Cop accused of killing coworker often argued over loud music, say neighbours

A constable-ranked police officer, who allegedly shot and killed his colleague and the wife of his colleague in Chaiyaphum on Wednesday night, has been temporarily dismissed from the force to make way for a serious disciplinary probe, said deputy national police spokesman Colonel Krissana Pattanacharoen on Thursday.

Bt20-bn plan to link EEC with southern corridor

Speaking at "Next Step Thailand:EEC" seminar yesterday, PM's Office Minister Kobsak Pootrakool said he reckons linking the proposed southern corridor with the EEC will connect the Pacific and Indian Oceans,creating a huge trade hub.

 

APPROVAL will be sought from the Cabinet for investment of over Bt20 billion for a southern corridor that will connect with the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) in order to forge a massive trade hub linking the Pacific and Indian oceans.

A DOCTOR in his early 50s has been charged with rape and committing an indecent act after being accused of raping a 29-year-old female patient with a “phallic object” wrapped in a condom during a gynaecological check-up at a clinic in Nakhon Sawan’s Muang district.

Phuket Police officer transferred after gambling den raid
