<deleted>

the police chief in that area should be pulled and a new one put in his place. very disgusting! I am actually shocked by this. :angry:

The venders should all be locked up as well! but of course that will not happen will it? :blink: imagine if they were from any other country, the police would have a field day showing at how well they are stamping out this sort of thing in Thailand, but no! not this time, because its Thais that are doing it.

dirty ^%%#$@!

Either the story is true and serious and Animatic's question is very wise, severe and scary: How influential are these people, that thais can not find someone much more powerful

Or its a message to discredit the police.

Or its a message to show that Thailand had never been so corrupted.
There is another, more sinister, side to this. These vendors are trying to make a living selling what people want to buy. If people weren't buying the vendors wouldn't be selling. The people making these movies would still be making them even if people weren't selling and buying them.

It is the nastier side of the human condition.

I have just noticed that there are 172 people viewing this topic and wonder why.
You are right that there will always be a market for this type of filth but, the police should be doing their utmost to help eradicate the suppliers/dealers etc. Surely there must be a point were the people say, "I don't care who you are, how influential you supposedly are, we won't tolerate this sh1t any longer"

Disgusted

So if someone wants to have sex with a kid the vendor that supplies the child is only offering what the market wants, what twisted logic.

Or it is someone showing how powerful they believe they are....

There are no doubt types that wouldn't look for this stuff,

but might buy something because it is in their face,

and they are curious. But warped enough to have that curiosity.

Why do the Bangrak based police operate under different rules from those of Lumpini? Is Lumpini a crackdown free area?

We hear a lot of BS about politicians damaging Thailand's reputation. What could be more damaging than this?

Is this sort of filth also available in non-tourist areas? If not, is this an indication of how visitors from abroad are perceived?

In this case the vendors should also add illegal drugs and guns to their business, as there is a demand for them in the market. All kind of porn is illegal in this country btw.

Right on;
This has been going on since as long as i can remmember and that goes back to the early 80's, so this is nothing new.
A thai has little, if any morality, when it comes to making a $$

I have no idea about the Thai people you know or associate with but, IMO you statement is a total slur on 60+ million people. The locals I know are normal, hardworking family orientated citizens.
