NTCC Chamber of Commerce Business Awards 2015

On Thursday 15 October 2015, the Netherlands-Thai Chamber of Commerce presented its 17th Annual Business Awards. The festive evening took place at the Grand Hyatt Erawan Hotel Bangkok.

The Business Awards of the Netherlands-Thai Chamber of Commerce were established in 1998 to pay homage to some of the finest companies for the way in which they excel in business and for their contribution to Thai society.

The Dutch business community is represented in Thailand by multinationals like KLM, Philips, NXP Semiconductors, Heineken, TNT, Shell, and Unilever, as well as by many successful SME’s.

The 17th Annual Business Awards Gala was held on 15 October 2015 at the Grand Hyatt Erawan Hotel Bangkok.

This year saw the following winners in the various categories:

- Mr. Egbert Abrahams, FrieslandCampina Thailand (Best Multinational Company)

- Mrs. Supattra Paopiamsap, Unilever Thai Trading (Best Project: Unilever House)

- Mr. Menno Keppel & Mr. Thomas Ruiter, Take Me Home Tomatoes (Best Entrepreneur)

- Mr. Cees Cuijpers, Town & Country Property (Best Small Entrepreneur)

- Mr. Mike Spits, Elephant Parade (Best Social Enterprise)

Special Awards were handed out to:

- Mr. William Haandrikman, AccorHotels Thailand

(Nominee: Best Multinational Company)

- Mr. Michiel Bosch & Mrs. Photjaman Reamsan, BKK Tours

(Nominee: Best Tourism SME)

- Mr. Akhil Kala & Mr. Patrick Bastiaan, Badotherm Far East

(Best Dutch-Thai Joint Venture)

- Mr. Henk Savelberg, Savelberg Thailand (Startup Encouragement Award)

- Mr. Choochai Eiamrungroj, The Shell Company of Thailand

(Nominee: Best Project – Fuel the Happiness)

- Mr. Han Rademaker, FWD Life Insurance

(Nominee: Best Project – FWD Academy)

- Mr. Willem de Vries (Special Contribution Award)
