Howling with laughter the other night. I found this jam a few months back and surprisingly the jar is not a jar but a little tumbler glass. Mrs washed it and I found it and enquired where it came from. She told me its from the pineapple jam I brought. So I goes back the shop and buys 3 more of these jams and in a week she's done two of them and into the 3rd so newly got a fill set if these little tumblers. She gets peckish one night last week and she's there eating a cheese and jam toasted sandwich.  errgh. You had to be there but it was funny.

Did you try it? Cheese and pineapple jam toasted sandwich could be good if the jam's not too sweet.

I agree but this is that sugary thai stuff it will be very sweet. I think it might have actually been strawberry jam as I brought two pineapple and 1 strawberry. The glasses are great though for a bit of wine.

For a strawberry jam and cheese toastie it would have to be Cheshire cheese for me. Again - not the too sweet jam.

Nothing beats a cheese and onion sandwich for me. Apart from an Italian BMT from subway and a FIVEguys burger.

I've always had cheddar since I was a lighty. Haven't changed much, still just as good.

Try it Morch, it's cheap and a great appetizer!

Could go for the strawberry, bacon, spinach thing. Not seeing it (as in can't imagine the taste) but intrigued. I'll mention it to the Mrs., which would probably make it appear in a day or two.

As for canned tuna, after years of being a default emergency, dropped it completely. Too much vile stuff there.

first time I saw it on food network today, I don't know who thought of it, sounds something a drunk guy would come up with...surprisingly there's alot of recipes on Google. Let us know how you like it if your Mrs makes it

If you've never had peanut-butter & horseradish it is surprisingly good. Not creamy but ground horseradish. I never see horseradish here though.

Five Guys is okay, but it is hard to get around to a burger when I'm in SoCal, and I like the Habit a little better.

And there is always in-and-out around in a pinch...

Not to worry, they had a pretty nice dessert selection as well...

A suggestion for the next edition of the Yulin Dog Meat Festival:

They copy so many Western things, so why not this?

PS: this is the sauerkraut I made a couple of weeks ago. Almost perfect, but will become better if I keep it a bit longer (it's still a bit green)
