This is worth watching.  They say they admit some surveillance may have happened against some Trump associates as part of the Russian hacking scandal.  But even the top Republican has admitted they have Zero evidence.  This top Republican supported Trump during the elections.

It's absolutely insane.  Watch this:

http://edition.cnn.com/videos/politics/2017/03/16/sean-spicer-wiretap-claims-press-brief-depressing-acosta-tapper-lead.cnn

Trump doesn't seem to be mentally stable.  Sad a person like Spicer doesn't just quit.  Zero morals.

I was going to watch it, then I noticed it was a link to CNN.

Too bad you missed it.  Has nothing to do with CNN. It's just a shot from the press room showing the insane Spicer.  CNN is doing a great job of holding the administration's feet to the fire.

Can you prove to me you don't have a sister? same with the wire tapings,

can any one prove Obama didn't wire tap Trump? proving the negative is

hard and impossible to do and this is why Trump is getting everyone running

around like a headless chickens,,, I wish he'd  do far less twitting though....

Twitting hits the nail on the head as he is a twit and far worse. It's a  matter of great concern that a man with that much power is totally out of touch with reality, he lives, and 'works' in la la land.

I've never wished anyone dead, but I reckon I would breathe a sigh of relief if a LHW took him out, and Pence too, who has to be as big a fruitcake as to support this loony.

Watch out, watch out.

Trump makes a huge noise and drama out of nothing that rolls on for days and weeks, taking up all the front pages. What is going on in the background that he doesn't want talked about? What are Jared and Eric up to? Selling buildings to the Chinese at strangely inflated prices that the Chinese seem happy to pay. What else is going on?

This is classic Trump. Distract, distract, distract through artificially created drama whilst keeping the dirty deals out of the limelight.

This is all just insane and the interview with Carlson Tucker and Trump on Fox was simply the ramblings of a madman.

Regarding the wire tapping - just the start!

Quote

TRUMP:  Well, I've been reading about things.  I read in, I think it was January 20 a "New York Times" article where they were talking about wiretapping.  There was an article, I think they used that exact term.  I read other things.  I watched your friend Bret Baier the day previous where he was talking about certain very complex sets of things happening, and wiretapping.  I said, wait a minute, there's a lot of wiretapping being talked about.  I've been seeing a lot of things.

Now, for the most part, I'm not going to discuss it, because we have it before the committee and we will be submitting things before the committee very soon that hasn't been submitted as of yet.  But it's potentially a very serious situation.

CARLSON:  So, 51,000 people retweeted that.  So a lot of people thought that was plausible, they believe you, you're the President -- you're in charge of the agencies.  Every intelligence agency reports to you.  Why not immediately go to them and gather evidence to support that?

TRUMP:  Because I don't want to do anything that's going to violate any strength of an agency.  We have enough problems

Read the transcript here, you have to scroll down a bit for the wire tapping insanity, but the rest of the interview is just as insane. WHEN will they impeach this buffoon?

https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/the-fix/wp/2017/03/16/donald-trump-explained-twitter-the-universe-and-everything-to-tucker-carlson/?utm_term=.2c268d6d4162

If you took out the name Trump and just read this as any old interview, you would conclude quickly that the person being interviewed had mental problems.

When I, as a non american was being force fed it everyday on the news, I thought he might do some good....now I am starting to thing maybe the US is going from world leader to world comedy act :coffee1:

Now saying it was the British GCHQ who bugged him... :cheesy::cheesy::cheesy:

What next??? The Irish Government sent in leprechauns to plant bugs...

What worries me the he has access to state secrets and will just spout anything out on Twitter or of the cuff during a press conference or TV interview, he is a bigger liability than Edward Snowden.

I can't help feeling that continually forcing the CIA and FBI to respond to/investigate these paranoid fantasies is not a smart move for a President  who wants to remain in power.

That depends. It's a distraction from real stuff about him. He isn't a man to quit without a fight. Even if does get to impeachment time, I wouldn't put it past him to try to incite a civil war. His people have guns.

I know everyone is saying he's crazy, and I have as well. But maybe he's more EVIL than crazy.

Who else in their right mind would want that job after they see how Spicer has degraded himself?

We live in desperate times. Trump needs a mouth piece that can dodge anything from questions of truth to maybe flying shoes in the future. Experience is toughening his skin and I am sure he plays mantra tapes under his pillow each night to fall asleep by. The new term "alternate truth" always gives him a way out.

I heard something yesterday that rings true and scary. It was from Schumer who said something like the big thing he's worried about is if in the public mind the New York Times and alt right troll site Breitbart are widely seen as equally credible media sources.

If that happens, say goodbye to American democracy, the constitution, the rule of law, the whole ball of wax.

It could definitely happen.

American democracy was much more fragile than most people thought. We didn't think such an evil movement could rise in the USA, we were supposed to better than that. Apparently not.

Actually, it does seem like Trump (or his boss Bannon) is intent upon elevating alt right media to mainstream legitimacy.  This is what I really don't get about Trump.  Does he really believe this stuff he reads in alt right media?  There are certainly disenfranchised (and nutty) people who believes this stuff...but none of them are President of the United States.  This is what's going to be interesting in the coming weeks/months, does the American system really work?  That is, the checks and balances, separation of power, freedom of the press, the Constitution, COMMON SENSE, etc.  If Trump wins, America loses...big time.

Yes, the patriotic thing now is the hope for (and actively work for) trump to FAIL. Assuming trump doesn't change his stripes which is an assumption with about a 100 percent chance of being accurate.

Well, not the FBI but British Intelligence...yeah, that's it...British Intelligence. Have to pick someone that Congress can't investigate.

Sean Spicer just suggested that Obama used British intelligence to spy on Trump. Not so much.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/monkey-cage/wp/2017/03/16/sean-spicer-just-suggested-that-obama-used-british-intelligence-to-spy-on-trump-not-so-much/?

GCHQ usually don't respond to these stupid allegations but for Trump they have made an exception

“Recent allegations made by media commentator judge Andrew Napolitano about GCHQ being asked to conduct ‘wiretapping’ against the then president-elect are nonsense,” a GCHQ spokesperson said in a statement. “They are utterly ridiculous and should be ignored.”

Of course that won't stop Trump spouting his made up rubbish.  How on earth is this man still allowed to be President?

It has now been announced that the White House has said it will no longer continue with it's claims that GCHQ wiretapped Trump and have APOLOGISED! Twice!  It is indefensible just what Trump is saying, he is a disgrace to the American people.
