Wasn't toplessness the norm for Thai women up to a hundred years ago, or so?

You can find thousands of thousands topless, but also knickerless girls in certain establishments all over the country. Did people 100 + years ago fight wars by using keyboards, or swords?

I was referring, of course, to everyday wear in public as common garb -- not "certain establishments", as I am quite aware of, thank you [rolls eyes]...
