Private Health Insurance

Recommended Posts

We are seniors and will retire from Australia to Thailand (Hua Hin) in November 2017.

I have read the comments regarding PacificCross and we are very interested in this company.

My wife is 73 and I am 62, we are both healthy, very sporty and full of life, but it is so hard to find an Insurance which will take us.

PacificCross has a medical check after 60, this is ok with us. This Health Insurance has up to 60, after that they have 71-75 and

86-90, what is with the ages between 60 and 90. Can anybody make any sense of this.

Most Insurance companies have age bands for the premiums  and depending on your age that age band premium will apply. There are companies whom will take you on before the age of 74. I would suggest  that you go for a high deductible. My broker can assist you as he did with mine.Contact TigonConsultancy dot com. He has a number of companies to compare to.

Good luck as most insurance companies will not sign up new clients over the age of 60. If someone is under the age of 60 and gets insurance then they will cover you once you get over the age of 60. If you do get insurance I would be very interested in the name of the insurance company that insures you.
